The Role:
We are seeking a full time stores person to join our team at our Timaru site. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to quality, attention to detail, and the ability to work productively within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Stock counting including investigation of any count variances
Picking machine components to meet assembly production requirements
Picking and packing of parts orders for our Melbourne branch
Deliveries to/from sub-contractors
Parts data entry
General stores work
You will be part of a small team working together to achieve our assembly target deadlines. You will need to have a strong team work ethic and be capable of performing tasks to a high standard under minimal supervision. The nature of the job requires multi-tasking and the lifting and placement of heavy components so you will need to be physically fit and capable of doing this type of work. Normal working hours will be 7:00am to 3.30pm with the flexibility to be able to work overtime during busy peak periods if required.
What We Are Looking For:
A fast learner with good numerical accuracy and organisation skills
A reliable work ethic with a proactive approach to tasks
Strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering quality work.
Good communication skills and an ability to work well in a team environment.
Class 1 (car) full drivers licence
A forklift operators licence
The successful applicant will need to pass a pre-employment drug test
You must be eligible to work in New Zealand to apply for this role or hold a current open work visa.
