The Role:
We are seeking a full-time Technical Coordinator to join our dynamic team at our Otorohanga site. This is an excellent opportunity for someone ready to start immediately. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical, coordination, communication, and project management skills, along with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset. A team-oriented approach and the ability to work productively with others are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
· Coordinate, develop, integrate, and optimise new products into production.
· Work with the Materials Management team to create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) for new parts and jigs.
· Assist in the procurement of parts to meet project objectives.
· Create and manage job records in the Epicor ERP system for jigs, tooling, and prototypes.
· Attend and contribute to operational and design meetings, providing regular updates and feedback.
· Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and resolve production issues effectively.
· Support the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
· Manage design changes and related documentation (e.g., drawings, specifications) in collaboration with Design and Production teams.
· Participate in production information projects, providing updates on timelines and progress.
What We Are Looking For:
Previous technical experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Strong computer literacy: ERP system experience (e.g., Epicor) is an advantage.
High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
A strong team player with excellent communication skills.
Reliable and proactive work ethic.
Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing random drug and alcohol testing.
Eligibility to work in New Zealand (citizen, resident, or valid work visa required).
